Vehicle Technician
Location: Redditch
Hours: Days

Are you a skilled Vehicle Technician with a passion for automotive innovation?
Are you looking to transition from a busy workshop to an exciting office-based role?

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research and development of new tools aligned with market demands.
Review and update information on existing products to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Assist in creating promotional materials, including demonstration rigs, photos, and videos.
Use technical publications and online resources to maintain comprehensive records supporting both current products and new projects.
Build and maintain relationships with trade professionals to gather insights and enhance research on tooling needs.
Keep track of new vehicle developments, especially in relation to servicing tools and techniques.
Monitor competitor activity through online research and industry publications.
Source vehicle components to assist with tool design and testing.
Test prototype tools on vehicle components, either at the workshop or with trade professionals.
Maintain the product development workshop and related tools.
Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding products.
The Ideal Candidate:

Extensive hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician, with broad vehicle knowledge.
Familiarity with multiple automotive brands.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
