Job Title: Project Engineer

Contract Type: Fixed term - 12 months (Open to contractor, day rate negotiable)

Location: Applecross, Scotland

The Project Engineer will be responsible for classifying and tagging all manual system controls and overseeing the implementation of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This includes capturing photographs of all assets, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), creating preventative maintenance schedules, and managing spare parts and equipment manuals. Additionally, the Project Engineer will compile all project documentation into a comprehensive project folder, including P&ID drawings, CAD drawings of all systems, and overall site plans.

Person Specification – Essential:

* Engineering Project Management experience

* Experienced engineering manager with project experience

* Experience working with electrical/mechanical systems

* Experience setting up and maintaining a CMMS system

* Knowledge of IT systems and CMMS systems

* Ability to work safely and consider the safety of others

* Strong team player with the ability to work on your own initiative

* Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

* Awareness of environmental issues

* UK full driver's licence

Person Specification – Preferable:

* Sound understanding of plant equipment and refrigeration systems

* Background in water treatment or Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) is desirable

* Understanding of oxygen and pressure systems

Role Accountabilities:

* Provide weekly updates to the Engineering Manager

* Ensure departmental compliance with all Health and Safety and technical requirements

* Perform any other duties or tasks as reasonably requested
