Commercial Manager

£45k-£55k per annum

Monday – Friday / Office Hours

Deeside

Our client, based in Deeside is looking to recruit a Commercial Manager on a permanent basis to join their friendly team.

Performance Objectives

* Deliver on target performance sourcing of suitable waste materials.

* Work closely with team to drive a growth strategy aligned with business goals.

* Develop local strategies to plan growth through volume acquisition.

* Complete bid and tender processes.

* Deliver a strategy campaign to maximise revenue and productivity.

* Secure new business for recycling operations.

* Manage a portfolio of existing accounts and ensure that volume targets are maintained.

* Ensure that health and safety is considered at all times.

* Be the point of escalation for portfolio accounts where appropriate.

* Produce regular activity and pipeline reporting to give commercial and operational stakeholders visibility of current activity and forecast new activity.

* Liaise regularly with other commercial functions to share pipelines and best practice.

* Drive new business and manage customer portfolio.

* Enhance the customer experience.

Person Specification

* Forward-thinking individual

* Strong industry network and experience in commercial sales and marketing.

* Ability to drive organisation's performance towards a more profitable position, securing new business, and attract additional waste volumes into network.

* Excellent analytical skills

* Commercial awareness.

* Interpersonal skills.
