Professional Technical are currently working with a leading motorsports company in Buckinghamshire and are on the search for an experienced Composite Design Engineer to join their team. This is a contract opportunity, operating inside IR35.

Job Role:

As a Composite Design Engineer you will be responsible for design and development of composite components, ensuring exceptional performance, weight reduction and durability.

Design and develop composite components using CAD (Siemens NX)
Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation
Collaboration with cross-functional teams: aerodynamicists, stress analysts and manufacturing engineering
Ensure designs meet all requirements: structural, performance and reliability
Conducting design reviews and contributing to continuous improvementJob Requirements:

As a Composite Design Engineer, we are requiring the following to be considered:

Degree qualified in relevant subject (Mechanical Engineering/Automotive/Motorsports)
Advanced user of CAD (Siemens NX)
Strong understanding of composite materials, lay-up techniques and manufacturing processes
Familiarity with DEA and structural analysis principles
