Veterinary Nurse. Berri, Australia. Salary £30k - £32k per annum prorated

What if we knew of a veterinary business with a 24-hour Emergency Hospital and four other practices? A caring team of like-minded individuals who just want what's best for patient and practice. Serving a loyal client base who are respectful and understanding of what you do, because they’ve been coming to you for years.

Luckily, we do and this one is hiring.

Based in Berri this modern hospital is hiring for growth. Currently undergoing a full refurb they are looking for a nurse with a minimum of two years experience. With a positive personality, intelligent, good communicator, and doesn’t mind rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in from the start you will fit right in here.

With a loyal client base and outstanding reputation ( check out their 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews on Google ) it sees them care and often work on interesting challenging and diverse cases. Some of your duties will include but not limited to: Admissions / discharges, I/V catheters, Anasthetic monitoring, dental radiographs, assisting with complex surgery, and nurse triaging.

They have a strong focus on continued education and professional development for all staff. They’re interested in improving all their team and investing in them. Because it’s mutually beneficial.

So, what’s in it for you:

A salary of £30k - £32k DOE 4 weeks holiday, additional retainer for on-call shifts, along with generous compensation for all after hours cases. The roster includes days weekends and some after hours.

In addition twice a year a team of vets and nurses visit a remote part of Australia serving patients who don’t have regular access to Vet care. All these trips are paid for.

Based in Berri there is lots to do. Plenty of wineries, cafés, and places to eat. They have bushwalking trails, national parks, and safe rivers safe to swim in. Plenty of sports are on offer locally and with lots of Aussie bars, good schools for all ages what’s not to like?
