Key Stage 1 SEN Teaching Assistant
January July 2025, likely to continue into the following academic year.

Horizon Teachers are working with an exceptional Primary school based in Wandsworth, assisting in their search for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team on a full-time basis. The school is easily accessible via public transport and offers outstanding learning and extracurricular facilities for their pupils.

Your main responsibility as a SEN Teaching Assistant will be to support a pupil with Global Development Delay who is in a KS1 class.

The opportunity:

Plan and implement creative and inclusive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Key Stage 1 pupils.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to both students and parents.
Collaborate with colleagues of all levels across the school.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
