New Resource Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client in Melksham. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Final Test Engineer to join their Production team. If you are passionate about quality assurance, have a keen eye for detail, and are ready to make a difference in a forward-thinking company, this role is for you!

Purpose of the Role
As a key member of the Final Test team, you will support production by carrying out inspection and testing activities on manufactured products. Working closely with the Senior Final Test Engineer, your role will ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Responsibilities
• Conduct pre-test inspections of manufactured products.
• Perform final testing as part of the product build process.
• Test purchased products and parts before integration into systems.
• Run diagnostic software for testing systems, monitor, and accurately record results.
• Install Operating Systems and Application software to meet specifications.
• Maintain records of testing and provide reports as required.
• Assist with additional testing-related activities under the direction of the Senior Final Test Engineer.
• Work effectively as part of the Production team, upholding the company’s Core Values.

Knowledge & Experience Required:
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Recognised qualification in a technical or ICT discipline.
• Degree-level qualification in Electrical Engineering (BEng). (not essential)
