SEN Teacher - Haddenham

Position: SEN Teacher
Location: Haddenham, Buckinghamshire
Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: £31,350 - £47,839 (dependent on experience)
Start Date: January 2025

About the Role:
Supply Desk is excited to support a welcoming and inclusive school in Haddenham in their search for an experienced and compassionate SEN Teacher. The role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, tailoring lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging, personalized lessons for students with a range of SEN.
Implement differentiated teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external agencies to create and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Track and assess student progress, using data to inform lesson planning and to celebrate achievements.
Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Provide pastoral support to students, promoting their social and emotional development.
Maintain effective classroom management in line with the school’s policies.
Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome to apply).
Strong understanding of SEN, including knowledge of various learning difficulties and disabilities.
Proven experience working with students with SEN in a school setting is preferable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
