CNC Millers & Turners – Contract or Permanent Opportunities

We are collaborating with a renowned precision engineering company that is looking for skilled CNC Millers and Turners to join their expanding team. These are excellent opportunities to advance your career while contributing to high-impact projects within the defence sector.

Rates & Benefits:

Contract: Competitive hourly rates starting at £24, with potential for higher earnings based on experience.

Permanent: Starting at £19.22 per hour in the light machine shop or £21.62 per hour in the heavy machine shop, with a comprehensive benefits package, including career development opportunities, pension schemes, and additional company perks.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and set CNC milling or turning machines to produce precision components, mainly for the defence sector.

Experience with Fanuc or Haas controlled machines is preferred.

Ability to program online is a plus, or a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a CNC setter/operator.

Industry Focus:

This role involves working on the production of highly complex, precision-engineered components for defence projects. With recent contract wins driving growth, you can expect a dynamic, challenging workload and long-term job stability.

The Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience as a CNC Miller or Turner, ideally within the defence or aerospace sectors.

Strong ability to interpret complex technical drawings and solve problems efficiently.
