Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Southwark

Pay: £85 - £100 per day

Start Date: January 2025

Contract: Full-time, working 1:1 with a child in Year 4

Provide 1:1 support to a Year 4 child with SEN (ASD), working in line with their EHCP.
Help the pupil engage with learning, building confidence and social skills.
Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to tailor support.
Monitor progress and adapt strategies to meet the child's individual needs.
Be a key part of the school's commitment to inclusive education.Requirements for the Teaching Assistant role:

Experience working with children, ideally with SEN or ASD.
A patient, understanding, and compassionate approach to teaching support.
Strong communication skills to liaise with staff, parents, and the pupil.
A proactive attitude and commitment to helping children succeed.
