Role: Deputy Nurse Manager
Setting: Care Home
Location: Surrey, Leatherhead
Hours: Full Time - 48 Hours p/wee (Clinical and Supernumerary)
Salary: £57K + (depending on experience)

Are you a Senior Nurse/Unit Manager/Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager looking to work part supernumerary and part clinical? Are you looking for career development? Do you hold a valid nursing PIN and have a passion for elderly care - then Amber Mace has the perfect role for you!

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Nurse Manager with strong leadership and clinical skills to join an amazing private company at their home in Surrey. The successful candidate will work closely with the home manager to support with leadership and management, clinical governance and quality/compliance throughout the home. 24 hours a week will be made up of clinical hours with the remainder being supernumerary.

This home are highly rated and invest a lot into their employees career and personal development, taking the time to train staff up and help them progress to the next level.

Role Requirements:
• Work closely alongside the Registered Manager
• Assist the manager with quality and compliance within the service
• Assist the manager with the leadership and management of the home
• Assist the delegation of workloads and nursing resources
• Ensure accurate care records are kept
• Promote and maintain a high standard of care throughout the unit
• To ensure effective induction of all staff
• Conform to the latest guidelines and CQC standards

Qualification/Skill Requirements:
• Valid UK PIN number
• Previous experience within a care home environment
• Strong clinical background
• A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
• Excellent Leadership skills
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of CQC standards
