Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established company. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks and develop the preventative maintenance system
Respond to and eliminate re-occurrence as far as possible to breakdown situations
Liaise with office and site teams as and when required
Carry out 'quick' risk assessments for any non-routine tasks reporting any concerns to Engineering and SHE Manager
Troubleshooting and Identifying Issues with key pieces of plant
Assist with Installation of new equipment
Conducting frequent quality checks on equipment to ensure no maintenance Is required
Completing emergency maintenance when equipment breaks downSkills and Qualifications:

17th or 18th edition electrical qualification desirable
Welding & fabricating experience advantageous, but not essential
Mechanical experience in heavy Industry / foundry type environment preferred
Knowledge and experience of carrying out planned preventative / Reactive maintenance on plant
Ability to carry out 'quick' risk assessments for non-routine tasks
Health, Safety and Environmental awareness
Minimum 1 years' experience In a manufacturing / heavy plant environmentIn return for your commitment my client offers a stable and secure career for a motivated engineer.
