Geography, History and Religious Studies on the timetableA Humanities Teacher is needed in an All-Girls Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Humanities Teacher role will be part time and long term, running from January 2025 to July 2025.

Working days for this Humanities Teacher position will be Thursdays and Fridays only.

If appointed as a Humanities Teacher, you will be required to teach KS3 Geography, History and Religious Studies.

The rates of pay for this Humanities Teacher position will be between £160 to £300 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each applicant.

The School

A highly successful All-Girls Academy for pupils aged 11 to 19 with a Mixed Sixth Form, located in the London Borough of Wandsworth.

Ofsted has rated the school as 'Good' across the board.

It is also 1 of only 2 Secondary Schools in London and 1 of 16 in the UK, to have been awarded the highest level of the UNICEF Rights Respecting School Award: Level 2.

They hold Artsmark Gold, Sportsmark and Healthy Schools status, as well as SMSC Quality Mark and International Schools Mark.

The school places high importance on the development of Curriculum, Creativity, Character, Community, Convention.

The site underwent renovations in 2012, to inspire both staff and pupils. It won the RIBA Sterling Prize in 2015. This is the UK's leading architecture award.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are a recently qualified Humanities Teacher or experienced Humanities Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Humanities Teacher or overseas trained Humanities Teacher.
