Section Engineers and Senior Site Engineer with highways experience are requested to view this opportunity.

An opportunity exists, with a tier one principal Contractor, for a Section Engineer to manage a package of works as well as a multi-disciplinary team of Engineers, delivery personnel and subcontractors, on a major project.

Your responsibilities will include:

Guiding and coaching team members on technical requirements, setting out techniques, and resolving construction issues using industry best practices.

Reading and interpreting information from drawings, schedules, and specifications to ensure accuracy in delivery.

Managing team performance, monitoring competency, and providing training/coaching as needed.

Conducting field audits and ensuring the adequacy of control documentation.

Managing documentation and records for seamless handover.

Requirements for this opportunity include –

HND/HNC/Degree in civil engineering

Highways experience whilst progressing from Site Engineer to Section Engineer for principal contractors.

Specific experience in drainage, earthworks, pavement, services and structures.

Good communication, interpersonal and management skills

CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid

Seeking career development and professional accreditation
