Hours - Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00
Salary £25-30k
 
Our client is a full-service global engineering, repair, and logistics company that offers cost-effective solutions to numerous premier brands worldwide. They support the entire product life cycle, from original design input, pre-sales testing, local customisation, and configuration to field support activities, including technical assistance, product repair, replacement, and refurbishment programs.

With a brand new facility in Wellingborough, they are looking to recruit Repair Technicians on a permanent basis to manage the working WIP, identify software faults and diagnose hardware fault finding to modular level on varied OEM model types.  You will follow manufacturer diagnosis rules and test procedures.

Key Job Responsibilities

To ensure that ESD standards are met at all times.
To ensure that Customer requirements are met on time.
Strong understanding of multiple OEM’s and the differing SLA requirements.
To ensure all transactions are carried out accurately.
To ensure that quality standards are met at all times and the unit is constructed correctly as per work instructions.
To be able to demonstrate the importance of health and safety within production area.
To ensure that tooling is suitable for task in hand
Have an understanding of the principles of 5S within the area.
Have an understanding the importance of escalating quality issues from our suppliers.
Completed and passed all customer modules required for the role.
Repair and document equipment repair in accordance with procedures and guidelines
Order and replace components as per customer guidance
Test device after repairCandidate Profile/Qualifications

A basic fundamental understanding in electronics. Background

Ideally, you will have worked in a diagnostics production role and have attributes to ensure customer devices are repaired in a cost-effective and safe way
Previous experience in repair and diagnostics experience of boxes or smart devices would be advantageousRequired Skills
