Escape Recruitment are working with their Manufacturing client based in Fife to recruit Hydraulic / Mechanical Technicians on a permanent basis.

Successful candidates will be time served, and hold a minimum SVQ Level 3 engineering qualification.

We are looking to hire for Workshop based roles.

You must be able to produce trade papers on application

JOB PURPOSE

To install/service/maintain Hydraulic and mechanical systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Interpret mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic engineering drawings.
Using measuring and recording equipment.
Working with high pressures and pressure generating equipment.
Service and repair of equipment as required.
Inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues as required.
Overhauling and testing of pumps, motors and control valves.
Create detailed service reports, maintain accurate records, complete all paperwork, test procedures, risk assessments and tool box talks to a very high standard.
Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required.
I am looking to speak with candidates who can demonstrate a high standard in completion of tasks associated with the role. You will have a heavy engineering background and be confident to work unsupervised.
