Description

Our client is long established and renowned for their technological innovations and sustainable working practices. They are seeking to grow their engineering team further and require Multi-skilled Engineers with a strong electrical bias. Working in a shift team of 5, the business operates Panama working patter with rotating days and nights. 

Core duties include

To carry out plant modifications, planned maintenance and small engineering projects.
Providing a dynamic and proactive response to engineering breakdowns.
Proactively contribute towards maximising machine availability and efficiency.
To maintain correct health & safety standards at all times.
Requirements for the role

A trained engineer who is both mechanically and electrically skilled.
Conversant with PLCs and process control equipment.
Ability to work to challenging deadlines and quick response times.
Flexible to respond to the changing demands of the role.
Conversant with Continuous Improvement and TPM techniques.
Ideally from a food manufacturing background.
Able to work using own initiative delivering high standard of work with minimal supervisory input.
