In this temporary to permanent role, you will play a crucial part in the production process, operating machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient production of steel. With a competitive hourly rate of £13.30, plus bonuses after 12 weeks, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As a Steel Operator/Production Operator, your responsibilities will include:

Safely operating bending machinery and tools, following instructions to complete production tasks
Performing physical/manual work, including lifting and moving steel bars
Prioritising and completing production activities according to instructions
Setting up or adjusting equipment based on manufacturing specifications
Monitoring product quality and taking appropriate action when needed
Maintaining accurate production records for analysis
Using measuring tapes and operating overhead cranes (training provided)
