Design Engineer

Design Engineer - SolidWorks 3D / AutoCad 2D - Engineering - £40-45,000 - West Yorkshire

Leading organisation within the dust containment sector require a Design Engineer with proven experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience working specifically within the relative sector (pharma, food manufacturing etc) and with proven experience in working on projects from concept through to final detail design and support of high specification bespoke systems using SolidWorks 3D and ideally SolidWorks Sheet Metal (training can be provided as required).

Asa a Design Engineer you will work closely with the engineering team to develop the mechanical design and detailed drawings of machinery for highly regulated industries from product concept through to delivery, liaise with interfacing functions and stakeholder to provide support and information as required, work closely with the Sales Team to offer concept design solutions during quotation and tender process and others to help develop new products

You will have the ability to build long standing customer relationships, be a strong problem solver with a good attention to detail, have the ability to plan, schedule and coordinate your own activities effectively, maintain knowledge of all relevant processes and procedures to ensure appropriate compliance with any regulatory requirements and come up with creative approaches for generating new ideas and improving existing processes, products or designs. Proven experience of sheet metal fabrications is also highly desirable
