Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – NHS Drug and Alcohol Team
Location: South West London
Pay Rate: £26–£29 per hour
Contract Duration: 3–6 months, ongoing
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (9 am–5 pm)
Start Date: December 2024–January 2025

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join the NHS Drug and Alcohol Team based in South West London. This role is ideal for a mental health professional with experience in drug and alcohol services who is passionate about providing high-quality care to individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive assessments, care planning, and interventions for individuals experiencing substance use issues.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery-focused outcomes.
Provide harm reduction strategies, psychoeducation, and support to individuals and their families.
Contribute to service development and ensure care delivery aligns with NHS standards.
Role Requirements:

Registration with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse (CPN).
Experience working in drug and alcohol services is essential.
Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
