Programme Support Officer

Up to £20.50 per hour (umbrella rate, inside IR35)

Hybrid working (1 day per week in the office) - West Yorkshire

Contract to start asap until May 2025

An exciting 5 month contract opportunity has arisen for a Programme Support Officer to join a dynamic public sector organisation As a Programme Support Officer, you will play a vital role in managing schemes and programmes that form part of the training and fellowship portfolio. This is a fantastic chance to contribute to the development and make a real impact in this organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Senior Programme Managers and Programme Managers in managing training schemes and programmes.
Support the development and implementation of administrative processes to manage applications.
Manage the advertising of schemes and negotiate cost-effective spending.
Draft and revise application forms and guidance notes.
Act as the first point of contact for inquiries related to the schemes.
Coordinate and organise meetings, workshops, and conferences.
Provide general support to the Senior Programme Managers and Programme Managers

Requirements:

Experience within a senior administrative role.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a complex workload.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and use of the internet.
