Location: Kidderminster
Hours: Mon - Fri 07:30 - 15:30
Pay: From £12.48 per hour
Contract: Temp - Perm

Pertemps are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a manufacturing company based in Kidderminster. Working on a temporary to permanent basis, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for manufacturing and a desire to grow within the team. The successful candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed.

The Duties of a Quality Inspector:
Generate, co-ordinate and utilise Inspection Plans and appropriate measuring tools
Perform effective & efficient inspection of Incoming Materials, Stock Investigations and Finished Goods
Reject all non-conforming products and materials that fail to meet quality Specifications.
Control Rejected/Quarantined Material, review and monitor supplier performance.
Maintain accurate and detailed departmental records
Provide analysis and actions to meet Customer Requirements and Production Timelines in terms of Quality and Delivery.
Ability to read CAD Drawings and Product Specifications to understand requirements
Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the product to the specifications.
Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure consistent quality control.
Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient

The Requirements of a Quality Inspector:
Excellent Written and Spoken English
Quality Engineer experience
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Work within required Timelines to avoid Production down time
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Good math and technical skills
Good understanding of 2D drawings
Excellent attendance and reliability record
