Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Stradbroke, Eye
Rate of pay: £14.49 per hour based on a 40 hour paid week.
Working Hours: Shift pattern alternating weeks Monday to Friday: 6am - 2.15pm Week 1 - 2pm - 10.15pm Week 2

Major Recruitment are working together with a well established company in the pet food industry, we have a great role on for a Quality Assurance Technician. This role is a temp to perm and comes with a competitive salary and benefits.

Experience as a Quality Auditor is essential.

Immediate starts available

Key responsibilities will include:

Carrying out daily checks to maintain site compliance.
Inspecting and assessing products against specifications through all stages of production.
Report any quality issues to the line manager.
Ensure shelf-life is conducted; data recorded and report any failures.
Filling out and reviewing production paperwork
Maintain retention samples and testing records
Calibration of probes as requested.
Conducting glass audits and good manufacturing production audits
The list is not exhausted.

What are we looking for:

Previous experience in a QA role, preferably in a BRC-accredited factory
Previous food manufacturing experience
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate but not essential
An eye for detail, to catch defects.
A natural communicator and team worker
A good level of written and spoken English.
Ability to work using initiative.
Flexible and adaptable
Basic IT skills
Confident and willing to learn
Pioneer
