* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, project management, and finance teams to ensure procurement aligns with project milestones and technical requirements.

* Monitor and control CapEx spend, ensuring procurement activities remain within the allocated budget.

* Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards.

* Provide regular updates to project management on procurement progress, including potential risks, delays, or cost variations.

Qualifications and Skills

* Proven experience in CapEx procurement within heavy industry, manufacturing, or engineering projects.

* Strong knowledge of large-scale industrial equipment and systems, ideally including electrical arc furnaces or similar technologies.

* Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.

* Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.

* Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Desirable:

* CIPS qualification or equivalent.

* Experience with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts.

* Knowledge of steelmaking processes and equipment.
