About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN-TA - Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist to join a primary school in Islington. This part-time, ongoing role involves supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will help with 1:1 and small group interventions, supporting their academic and social development.

Application Requirementsfor an SEN TA:
• Experience supporting children with ASD or similar special educational needs.

• Passion for helping children achieve their potential.•

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

.• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• A positive, proactive approach to working with children.

Key Responsibilities: As an SEN TA you will:

• Provide tailored support to students with ASD in Key Stages 1 and 2

.• Assist with implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

.• Help students develop social and communication skills.

• Support students to access the curriculum and achieve personal goals.

• Work closely with teachers and staff to foster an inclusive learning environment.
