Westlakes Recruit is currently seeking an experienced Senior Director - Common Assets to oversee procurement and delivery of 2D and 3D MMC residential and non-residential assets for the NEOM The Line project. This role involves leading large-scale construction initiatives, managing design outputs, driving procurement strategies, and building effective stakeholder relationships. A strong background in modular buildings, steel structures, and pre-fabrication is essential. The position is based on a permanent basis in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
Role Overview:
The Senior Director - Common Assets oversees the procurement and delivery of 2D and 3D MMC residential and non-residential assets for the LINE project, covering 11.7 million m² of asset-built area, including a 3D MMC Assembly Facility located at NEOM. This role collaborates closely with design teams, delivery teams, and logistics specialists, ensuring timely, cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Project Management:

Provide leadership to Project Directors (Residential Assets, Non-Residential Assets, and MEP Director).

Mentor team members, offering guidance aligned with project goals and objectives.

Drive the delivery of the 3D MMC Assembly Facility by working with key stakeholders and supply chain partners.

Oversee design outputs, ensuring alignment with procurement and sustainability strategies.
Procurement and Delivery:

Lead procurement and delivery strategies for 3D MMC assets and 2D platform construction.

Develop prototype solutions for fire testing, installation, and lifting of 3D MMC modules.

Execute procurement packages, assessing commercial risks associated with assembly, installation, and commissioning.
Stakeholder Management:

Build effective relationships with NEOM proponents, design consultants, and supply chain partners.

Develop interface and engagement plans for successful stakeholder collaboration.

Lead procurement package approvals within NEOM.
Risk and Quality Management:

Identify and mitigate project risks in collaboration with the wider project team.

Promote continuous improvement through feedback and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education and Experience:

Engineering Degree in Construction or Engineering.

Minimum 20+ years of experience in large-scale project construction, with at least 15+ years in leadership roles.
Key Skills:

Visionary leadership with experience in complex, multi-faceted projects.

Expertise in managing diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Integrated Project Delivery methods.

Strong technical problem-solving, decision-making, and adaptability.

Experience with 3D MMC Volumetric Modular projects is advantageous but not essential.
