Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Hexham (NE47)  

Start Date: January

Salary: £85 per day

TeacherActive has an amazing opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work with an amazing Primary school based in Hexham. The schools offers amazing teaching facilities to encourage students with various specific requirements and disabilities to help enhance their quality of learning and keep the students engaged, which allows such a positive environment.

The school is seeking a SEND experienced Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with a child in year 4 with global development delay. The role will be purely working 1-1. The main aim is to support with curriculum and build a positive relationship with the pupil.

A successful SEND Teaching Assistant:

Supporting teaching and learning level 3 and training in SEND.
Experience working with challenging behaviour.
Have the ability encourage pupils' confidence, learning and development.
