Job Title: Senior IC Design Engineer

Location: Nijmegen Area, the Netherlands

Reports To: VP Engineering

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €50,000 - €70,000 + Benefits

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IC Design Engineer to join our development team, focusing on the design and optimization of integrated circuits for tunable RF solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with both external design service partners and internal RF module design teams. You will be the primary technical interface, ensuring the seamless integration of IC designs with RF modules that incorporate tunable capacitors, switches, and low noise amplifiers (LNAs). The ideal candidate is a highly skilled IC designer with expertise in RF integration and a proactive approach to complex problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Liaison: Serve as the main technical interface between external IC design partners and the in-house RF module design team.

IC Design Support & Planning: Contribute to top-level IC design planning, managing risk, and ensuring alignment with overall performance goals.

Simulation & Optimization: Conduct high-level simulations, including Monte Carlo simulations, and assist in model verification. Focus on optimizing tunable capacitors and LNA performance within the IC.

Design Integration: Ensure that the IC design integrates smoothly with RF modules, meeting technical requirements and design objectives.

Problem-Solving: Proactively troubleshoot complex design issues, providing technical insights and resolution strategies to ensure project success.

Collaboration & Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation and provide timely progress updates to the VP of Engineering and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.
Proven experience in IC design with a focus on tunable solutions and RF integration.
Expertise in simulation techniques, including Monte Carlo simulations, and experience in top-level design planning and risk management.
Strong understanding of RF and analog circuit design principles, specifically around tunable capacitors and LNAs.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical details across teams.
Highly organized, able to manage multiple design interfaces and complex project coordination.
Proactive, resilient, and capable of addressing design challenges in a fast-paced environment.Benefits:
