Head of Science Post – Permanent Contract – Bexley – January / April Start

Scholar Education’s partner secondary school in Bexley has tasked us with finding a new Head of Science.

This role has come up due to the current Head of Science taking a senior leadership role.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Science, Science 2ic, or experienced Science Teacher looking to step up, to deliver a dynamic and inspiring vision for science across this fantastic secondary school.

The successful applicant will provide outstanding teaching & learning and leadership of science with the ability to inspire pupils and colleagues.

You will be joining a school with enthusiastic and dedicated leaders and a commitment to the professional development of staff.

Key Objectives Are:

* To provide high-quality leadership and direction for science and to ensure it is well managed and organised in a way that meets the aims and objectives of the school.

* To lead, design, deliver and manage all aspects of the Science curriculum, collaborating effectively with colleagues to inspire pupils.

* To provide an effective and efficient teaching service within the Science department.
