Description

People Group are looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer from a water or wastewater background.

You'll implement design solutions, controlling technical delivery, costs, changes and programmes at all stages of projects. Provide mechanical expertise to a Sewage Treatment Plant.

Responsibilities:

Technical assurance of Design, engineering, calculations, specifications
Assisting with preparation of flowsheets and engineering line diagrams and supervising plant layout and pipework design including 3D modelling
Managing the supplier/contractor procurement process from enquiry to delivery
Site support during construction and commissioning including field engineering assignments
Reviewing designs & proposals for conformance with applicable regulatory standards, policies, and codes of practice
Essentials:

A HND / HNC or equivalent in mechanical engineering
Experience of mechanical engineering in process related industries in particular the Water Industry; Sewage Works and Water works.
Specific expertise in the design, layout, engineering and specification of process plant and piping for the Water industry
Can get to Twickenham 5 days a week
On offer is a salary of between £ 45,000 - 60,000 per annum, car allowance, pension and 26 days holiday and more
