Pertemps Didcot is seeking an experienced automotive body shop prep technician to join their established team. As an automotive body shop prep technician, you will meet the high standards of quality associated with the business and their reputation. Working closely with the body shop team, using your craftmanship and cutting-edge techniques to ensure that every car is ready to shine on the road or in the showroom. To be considered for this position you will be proactive have a detail-orientated approach to your craft.

Body shop prep technician responsibilities
Preparing vehicles for painting, including but not limited to; Sanding, priming, masking and filling minor repairs.
Maintain a clean and functional workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are clean and well-organised.
Collaborate efficiently with colleagues to ensure that deadlines are met, and the highest quality standards are adhered to.
Accurately complete all necessary documentation associated with each task.
Uphold health & safety standards with all tasks.

Skills and Experience needed
Previous experience in a vehicle bodywork preparation environment.
Ability to work independently under own initiative.
Be familiar with working on a variety of vehicles.
Own your own set of preparation tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
