Overview
My client, a world-renowned industry leader based in the Netherlands, is at the forefront of designing and engineering bespoke superyachts. They're looking for an engineer to help push the boundaries of innovation and precision in custom-built yacht construction. With a focus on cutting-edge design, mechanical engineering, and naval architecture, you'll be instrumental in transforming visions into reality, blending creativity with technical expertise.

The Role
As a Senior FEM Engineer, you'll be a key player in revolutionising the construction process. Your expertise in FEM analysis will elevate safety, strength, and efficiency, ensuring every superyacht is a masterpiece of engineering. With a dynamic and multi-faceted role, you'll work across multiple projects, becoming the go-to expert in the field while contributing to groundbreaking improvements across the business. Responsibilities

Provide detailed FEM calculations for longitudinal strength, vibrations, and construction details
Manage FEM work packages and act as a point of contact for issues and progress
Provide advice on calculations and simulations
Support the development and improvement of tools and methodologies
Requirements

Relevant higher education qualification
Minimum of four years of relevant experience in FEM/Structural Engineering in passenger vessels and/or superyachts
Experience with 3D CAD software (NX, Inventor, SolidWorks)
Experience with FEM tools (Ansys, NASTRAN, Femap, RFEM)
Knowledge of shipbuilding and certification bodies (LR, DNV, BV)
Excellent command of English
The Offer

Salary range dependent on experience, between £47k and £73k. This figure is inclusive of a 13th-month bonus and 8% holiday pay.
