Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer required for a major offshore wind developer based in Denmark

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on geotechnical design issues
Develop and implement geotechnical design procedures
Participate in research programs to ensure the Client stays up to date with the latest developments in the industry
Lead and undertake foundation design tasks, specifically monopile foundations, using both PLAXIS and in-house developed tools
Make foundation installation analyses using both commercial and in-house tools
Prepare geotechnical design reports and other project related documents
Collaborate with other disciplines, including structural, Loads and Site investigationRequirements

A master's degree in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical specialization
5 to 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering
Experience with offshore foundation design, preferably including monopile design experience
Experience with foundation design using software similar to PLAXIS
Proficiency in programming in MatLab and Python for interfaces with design software.
A proactive and outgoing mindset, ability to take ownership over tasks and ensure timely delivery
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g. API, DNV or ISO)
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
The ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
Able to work in the office 3 days per week
