Description

A small Design Practice in the Rayleigh area are looking to recruit an Architect / Architectural Technologist to work on a diverse range of residential, hospitality and industrial projects. If you have Architectural design experience, current UK Building Regulations knowledge and reside in the South Essex area then this company can give you the opportunity to work on varied and bespoke high profile projects.

What's on offer:

Working in a small friendly team on a variety of projects
Salary £28,000 - £34,000
Hours 9.00 - 5.00pm Monday to Friday
28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
Free on-site parking

Duties:

Carry out measured surveys
Carry out technical detailing
Produce feasibility, planning and construction drawings
Prepare tender packages
Produce site plans, street scenes, and 3D CGI's
Attend site visits
Liaise between client, contractor and specialist consultants

Candidate requirements:

A HNC Level 4 or higher in Architecture or Construction Studies is required
Experience gained in an architectural or design company is essential
Must have a good technical knowledge and understanding of building regulations
Must already reside in the South Essex area
Previous experience working as an Architectural Technologist is essential
AutoCAD proficiency is essential
Experience with Sketch-Up and/or Photoshop is advantageous.
