A Cover Supervisor plays a vital role in the education of secondary pupils by providing a seamless gap in learning in the short-term absence of Teacher.

For those considering teaching as a career, Principal Resourcing have an excellent track record of supporting new candidates to progress onto teacher training through experience working with us as a Cover Supervisor.

Basic role responsibilities:

* Supervising students and maintaining a structured environment in the absence of the regular teacher.

* Delivering pre-planned lessons.

* Managing classroom behavior and ensuring students remain on task.

* Assisting with educational resources.

* Collaborating with teaching staff and senior leaders.
