Are you passionate about English and eager to inspire the next generation of learners? A secondary school in Finchley (Barnet) is offering an incredible opportunity for a Trainee English Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting immediately.

About the Role

This is an ideal position for an aspiring teacher who wants to develop their career in a supportive and high-performing school environment. Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the delivery of engaging and effective English lessons to students of varying abilities.
Gaining hands-on teaching experience under the guidance of experienced mentors.
Building positive relationships with students to inspire a love of learning in maths.
Participating in training and professional development programs to work towards qualified teacher status (QTS).

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a degree in English Language, Literature or Classics or a related field.
Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Be eager to learn and develop through structured training and mentoring.
Exhibit excellent communication and organisational skills.Prior experience working with young people in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
