Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

Do you have the skills, empathy, and commitment to support young learners in achieving their full potential?

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in S. Benfleet. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment that truly values inclusion and the development of every child.

About the Role:

Provide one-to-one or small group support for children with SEND, helping them access the curriculum effectively.
Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENDCO to implement tailored learning plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting independence and confidence in the pupils you support.
Assist with personal care or sensory needs as required.
Monitor and document progress, providing feedback to staff and parents.About You:

Experience working with children with SEND in a school or similar setting.
A solid understanding of a range of SEND, such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs.
Patient, compassionate, and adaptable with excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to child welfare.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or similar) are desirable but not essential.What We Offer:
