FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for positions based in Dubai. We are looking for a Production Planning Manager working for a prestigious engineering/manufacturing company, where the role is managing and leading the Planning Team, developing planning guideline schedules for new projects and updating project plans aligning with budgets and timescales.. The company offer full sponsorship and ongoing assistance, help with accommodation, travel, flights etc. Highly competitive salary package with tax free incentives of working in Dubai. The role involves monitoring of project progress, reporting issues to key stakeholders and driving improvements, supporting ERP developments. Experience of working within an engineering /manufacturing composite industry desirable
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Planning Team
* Develop and customise planning guideline schedules for new projects
* Create and update project plans to align with budget and timescale milestones
* Monitor project progress and report issues to key stakeholders
* Drive efficiency improvements in production phases
* Support ERP developments
* Provide relevant reports on key project dates, resource planning, production targets, and capacity utilisation
Skills and Experience Required for the Production Planning Manager:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent
* 7+ years of relevant experience
* Excellent analytical skills for data gathering, organisation, and analysis
* Strong knowledge of planning resources and materials
* Proficient in AX/database systems
* Excellent command of English and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
* MS Project or relevant scheduling software (Primavera P6 is an advantage)
* ERP AX is a plus, SAP or any other equivalent ERP system
