Chief Executive Officer

Parkinson Lee Executive Search are currently working with a leading manufacturer of innovative and high-quality building products, recognised for their commitment to sustainability and exceptional customer service. This €280M t/o business has a strong foothold in the European market and ambitious growth plans (they have doubled in size over the past 5 years). Our client is currently seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive the business through its next phase of development and expansion.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a well-established and forward-thinking company based in the heart of Luxembourg, reporting directly to the owner and main shareholder who is deeply invested in the company’s success and legacy, and leading a team of 550+ FTE through a period of significant investment.

As CEO, you will be the driving force behind the company’s strategic vision and operational excellence. This role demands a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader capable of managing complexity while inspiring teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Full P&L Responsibility with full management of the investment programme (circa €800M).
Develop and execute a robust business strategy to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
Increase market share in existing European markets and new international territories.
Oversee production, sales, marketing, and R&D activities, ensuring efficiency and high-quality standards.
Strategic management of Country Sales Teams to increase the brand and product offering within the DIY, Industrial and Trade customer base.
Manage budgets, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure strong financial performance.
Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, fostering partnerships and enhancing market presence.
Maintain strong communication with the owners and align company goals with their vision and values.
Cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the organization towards improving employee engagement.
Parkinson Lee Executive Search are keen to speak with people that have the following skills and experience:

Proven track record in a CEO / Managing Director capacity, ideally within manufacturing, construction, or a related industry.
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
Demonstrated success in driving business growth and improving operational performance.
Excellent financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and P&L.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working closely with owners or board members.
Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of French, German, or Luxembourgish is highly advantageous.
