We are currently recruiting for an Estimator/Senior Estimator in Birmingham on behalf of one of our clients - an established regional contractor who work on large scale new build and refurb schemes in education, healthcare and commercial sectors! (Perm)

Ideal Candidate:

* Main Contractor background

* Experience working on one and two stage tenders

* Conquest experience would be beneficial but not essential

* Strong work ethic

* Excellent organisation skills and used to working in the detail

Duties will include:

* Managing and preparing competitive tender submissions varying in form eg. one/two stage tenders or negotiated contracts.

* Sending tender enquiries out to supply chain.

* Analysing quotes from the supply chain.

* Carrying out precise quantification checks.

* Attending supply chain meetings on a regular basis ensuring an accurate scope of works and competitive costs have been provided.

* Being aware of modern build techniques and materials.
