RE Teacher

Location: Greenwich

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Long Term, Full Time

Salary Scale: £185 - £265 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and passionate RE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Greenwich. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of inspiring and engaging students, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for religious studies. The role involves planning, assessing, and delivering engaging content, managing classroom dynamics effectively, and supporting the personal development of pupils.

As a RE Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, encouraging critical thinking and respect for diverse beliefs and perspectives.

Responsibilities of a RE Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons tailored to varying student abilities.
Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance curriculum materials.
Create an inclusive learning environment that promotes cultural and religious understanding.
Uphold school policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and academic standards.
Required Qualifications for a RE Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and ability to differentiate lessons effectively.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new check.
