Body Shop Business Support

Our automotive Client based in Saudi Arabia is searching for an experienced Body Shop Business Support who is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational processes, financial performance, and overall efficiency of the body shop division. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of body shop operations, and the ability to drive continuous improvement. The Business Support Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure the body shop runs smoothly, meets customer expectations, and achieves financial targets

This is a full-time position which requires full relocation to Saudi Arabia.  Our client will support an overall benefits package which will allow significant relocation and living costs on top of a very competitive salary with favourable tax incentives.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and quality.
Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and manpower usage to optimize resources.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Develop and manage the body shop budget, including forecasting and financial planning.
Analyse budget, identify scope of improvement and implement strategies to improve cost reduction.
Track and control costs, including labour, materials, and overhead.
Foster a customer-centric culture within the body shop team and for internal customers
Lead, mentor, and develop body shop team members to achieve performance.
Ensure quality culture and establish strategies to improve the product quality in body shop
Ensure proper training and development programs are in place for staff
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve productivity.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation
Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and inventory control for process and non-process materials.
Develop relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Ensure timely availability of parts and materials to support body shop operations
Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, financial results, and key metrics.
Use data analysis to make informed decisions and drive strategic initiatives.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          
Requirements

Knowledge about Body Shop Processes.
Sound knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance used in automobile industries.  
Plant Capacity Basis.

Technically competent for costing and budgeting
