Our automotive Client based in Saudi Arabia is searching for an experienced Body Shop Senior Manager who is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the body shop's operations, ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality repairs, and exceptional customer service. This role involves strategic planning, team management, process improvement, and adherence to industry standards. The Senior Manager will collaborate with other departments to optimize performance, drive profitability, and maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

This is a full-time position which requires full relocation to Saudi Arabia.  Our Client will support an overall benefits package which will allow significant relocation and living costs on top of a very competitive salary with favourable tax incentives.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the body shop to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and quality of service.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of body shop technicians and support staff.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality control standards and addressing customer concerns promptly.
Work closely with the customer service team to manage repair timelines and communicate effectively with clients.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.
Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures as needed.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
Develop and manage the body shop budget, ensuring cost control and profitability.
Analyse financial reports and implement strategies to improve financial performance.
Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to optimize costs and service quality.
Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategies for the body shop.
Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to keep the body shop competitive.
Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and expand services.
Develop strategies for people empowerment, training and cross training strategies                                
Requirements:

Knowledge about Body Shop Processes.                                                                                
Sound knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance used in automobile industry                                            
Plant Capacity Basis.                                                                                      
Business Acumen.                                                                                           
Analytical Skills, Coaching and Counselling skills.                                                                                
Technically competent for costing and budgeting                                                                                               
ISO 90001, ISO (phone number removed) & ISO 50001 Awareness                                                                                
Safety Management                                                                                       
Basic Operation and maintenance of equipment (Electrical & Mechanical) w.r.t Energy efficiency  
Legal Requirements- EMS                                                                                             
Significant Energy consumption and Significant environmental impacts                                    
Emergency Preparedness Plan                                                                                   
Waste management                                                                                       
Education:

BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Minimum Experience:

10 – 15 years’ relevant experience in automotive domain
