Mechanical Engineer

Sandhurst, Hampshire

Salary: Circa £40kpa plus excellent benefits

A local Design & Manufacturing company who specialises in producing specialist products for the Defence, Marine and Water Industries now requires a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

Purpose of Role - Mechanical Engineer

* Scientific instrumentation design from concept to final product

* Engineering documentation

* Manufacturing support

* Customer liaison

* Product test and on site commissioning

Candidate requirements - Mechanical Engineer

The ideal candidate must come from the engineering industry as a Design Engineer. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

* Hold a recognised design engineering qualification such as BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

* To be successful in this role, you will need a knowledge of fundamental engineering principles

* Must be able to demonstrate the requisite level of design ability and a sound engineering knowledge base

* Security clearance will be applied for on appointment – UK passport holders (no dual nationals) only plus proof of residency in UK for last 5 years.
