Are you an experienced Quality or Technical Manager or QA/QC Manager from the food manufacturing sector?  My client is looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team at their manufacturing faculty in North Yorkshire. Reporting in to the Site Technical Manager this is a permanent site based position offering attractive salary and benefits

The successful Compliance Manager will be responsible for:

Ensuring the food safety, legality and quality of all products manufactured
Site lead for the food safety plans & lead on customer COPs and 3rd Party Standards
Stay informed of all changes to customer codes of practice and external standards applicable to site
Engage with stake holders on how compliance gaps can be closed and coordinate delivery of these
Manage own site internal audit plan and execution
Effective management of team with clear development to support the sites succession planning
Driving continuous improvement plans, for example complaint reduction/quality improvement & non-conformance reduction 

The ideal candidate will have some previous relevant experience in a similar role from within the food manufacturing sector. You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience of leading a team. You should also have Level 3 Food Safety, Level 3 in Health & Safety and Level 4 HACCP. A Food related BSc qualification would be advantageous as would experience of using VISO. The role would suit someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environmentHAH

This role offers an attractive salary up to £55,000 DOE.  The business is commutable from is commutable from Malton, York, Scarborough, Driffield, Thirsk and surrounding areas
