Teaching Assistant / Primary School Teacher Training Opportunity /ASAP Start

A fantastic opportunity for an aspiring teacher has arisen at an outstanding graded primary school in Headington. The opportunity is to build your classroom experience as a teaching assistant for one year before successfully completing your primary school teacher training. The Primary school would like the successful teaching assistant to start ASAP and will require someone who can commit for a minimum of one year.

This is an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated school who are known for their fantastic teacher-training programme. The school is popular with the local community and has an established senior leadership team. If you are an aspiring primary teacher, this teaching assistant position could be perfect for you. Your role will include working with children in KS2 as a general teaching assistant - supporting with numeracy and literacy as well as helping with SATS preparation.

ASAP StartThe primary school are looking for a teaching assistant that is graduated to a degree level, either undergraduate or masters level. Additionally, the primary school are looking for someone with some experience working with children previously - this may include previous work as a teaching assistant, tutoring, youth work or special needs experience. If you are a Maths specialist - this primary school will be very interested in you!

This is a full-time position with the exciting opportunity for a teaching assistant to develop into a fully qualified QTS primary teacher. The successful candidate will have a strong educational background and a true passion to work with young children. The primary school are looking for teaching assistants and graduates who can inspire and instil a love of learning into their pupils.
