Are you an experienced Estimator or an Electrical Engineer looking to transition into an Estimation role? NCE Switchgear in Clydebank is offering an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Switchgear Proposal Estimator to join their team. Whether you bring a wealth of estimating experience or a strong engineering background with an interest in proposals, we want to hear from you!

Purpose of the Role:

To develop accurate and competitive proposals for electrical switchgear projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, budgets, and timelines.

Are you who we’re looking for?

You’re an experienced Estimator in electrical projects, or an Engineer eager to apply your technical skills in a proposal-focused role.

A strong understanding of electrical switchgear systems, with hands-on or design experience being advantageous.

The ability to interpret engineering drawings and project specifications with high attention to detail.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ensuring precise cost estimates and technical documents.

Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
