An experienced Maths Teacher is required for a lovely SEN school in the Morpeth area of Northumberland. You will be able to deliver Maths to Key Stages 3 and 4 and if you have experience as a Maths lead, this would be advantageous. There will also be an expectation to assist with Curriculum planning as well as supporting the Assistant Head with monitoring Maths across the whole school. This is a full time role and will begin before Christmas 2024 for handover but definitely January 2025 to at least February half term 2025 (potentially until the end of the Spring term 2025). The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal Maths Teacher candidate would:

* Have good classroom management skills

* Have had experience as a Maths Lead, monitoring Mathematics across whole school

* Have experience of working with pupils with Special needs

* Have a passion for teaching Maths

* Have excellent subject knowledge

* Be able to organise themselves

* Be able to plan effective, engaging Maths lessons.
