Job Opportunity: Drama Teacher
Location: Hornchurch, Essex
Position: Full-time, January 2025 Start

Join our growing team at a thriving secondary school located in Hornchurch as a vibrant and dynamic Drama Teacher. We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about inspiring students through the performing arts. This full-time position starts in January 2025 and is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and high-quality Drama lessons to students at KS3 and KS4.
Foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration among students in the performing arts.
Contribute to extracurricular Drama activities, productions, and performances.
Collaborate with the Drama department and wider teaching team to maintain high standards of learning and engagement.
Uphold the school's values and commitment to student development in Hornchurch.

Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or has a subject-related degree with proven teaching experience.
A vibrant and dynamic Drama Teacher who can inspire students to explore their creativity and perform to their full potential.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with excellent support available from our incredible Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
Dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive environment within our Hornchurch school community.
